Kids and their jokes!

Is it bad if I get a kick out of the bad jokes my kids try to make up? If so, I may be a horrible person! It just makes me laugh when they come up to me with new jokes. We have been working on our animal reports in preparation for our trip to the aquarium and apparently I have aspiring comedians in my class...

"Miss Fiso, what did the jelly say to the fish? **Pause for effect** You are a jellyfish"

"Miss Fiso, what is a dart frog's favorite hobby? DARTS!"

"Miss Fiso, what did the shark do for a job? **Pause** She was a nurse shark!"

As you can see, they are still working on it. In other news, I love the clever answers I receive from my kids sometimes!

Thoughts

I decided to go to the Salt Lake Temple today. I hadn't been to the Salt Lake Temple and was excited for the experience. It was beautiful and a lovely experience! As I was leaving I decided to take a picture. The Sun was bright and I tried to focus my camera that I pushed in the wrong spot. When I did that the picture did not come out very well. So I pushed on the screen over the temple so that it would focus on the temple and everything became clear. It made me think about how important our focus is. It's important to have our goal in sight but if our focus is onanything other than our goal then things become fuzzy and we lose focus. When I was taking my pictures I knew that I wanted a picture of the temple but if I focused anywhere other than the temple my picture wasn't going to turn out very well. I think that's how life works as well. We need to keep our focus on the things that are important and everything else will fall into place. If we shift our focus at all then it's harder to see the full picture and we may not reach our goals.
