GRRRRR!!!

Stupid DI! So much for a Summer job...

Sundays are the best!

So there is this elderly woman in my ward who is really cute and she likes to call me her angel. I have no idea what her name is, I just know that she is really sweet. Well whenever she see's me in church she always says, "oh here's my angel how are you?" and I'll answer in whatever way works the best... Well today I was subbing for my moms primary class and while we were waiting to enter the primary room this lady shows up with a friend and introduces me as her angel. She said to her friend, "This is my angel. On my first Sunday in this ward I was lucky enough to sit next to her. She is so sweet and kind and I just love to listen to her sing!" Her friend asked if I could be an angel for another person and she replied, "No she is my angel" Isn't that so cute this lady always makes me feel so good about myself when I see her! When I told my parents what happened my dad said "Yeah when you are gone she comes up to me every week asking how you are doing up at school" It just amazes me that she shows this interest in me because I really haven't talked to her and I don't even know her name...

I can't believe i'm saying this...

But I want school to start again!!!! This Summer is driving me crazy! I have almost nothing to do except clean, sleep, and eat... I was planning on a Summer job to keep me busy but due to a misunderstanding I can't start until the end of the month!!!!! And because of my not starting until the end of the month I won't be able to go to Utah for our family reunion! I was really excited because I love my family and camping! And my parents promised we would go to 7 Peaks!!! I really think I might go crazy from having nothing to do... At least during school I have something to do! And I actually am really excited for Fall semester I'm looking forward to all but one of my classes... That means next year should be amazing, that is if I can make it through this Summer...

Memorial Day Weekend

I didn't really have plans for the weekend but on Thursday Annie asked if I wanted to go to duck creek with her and her parents to go riding for the weekend. It sounded like fun so I packed my bags and we left Friday afternoon in the RV. We were driving and something happened with the battery for the RV so her parents decided to stop and check it out. They were assured the batteries were fine and we headed on our way. When we got to Cedar City the RV decided to break down, at a stoplight, and we were stuck there for a couple of hours...

After a couple of hours the tow truck came and we got the RV towed to the nearest auto-shop hoping to get it fixed the next morning. While waiting for the tow truck Annie and I walked to starbucks because I had a gift card and she loves Starbucks (I got a cupcake and it came with the cutest cupcake box!

We were stuck by the lighthouse...

In the morning the mechanic never showed up. So Annie's dad decided to fix it himself, he got the RV fixed and that afternoon we were heading up the mountain! We went out on the four wheelers when we got to Duck Creek and it was so much fun! I don't really remember going four-wheeling before but it was so much fun! While we were up there over the weekend I learned how to Drive a four wheeler (Not well enough but enough to be able to understand some basics...) and despite my misgivings about it I tried Cafe Rio and decided I really like their Steak Quesadilla! ;)

Happily Ever After?

Movies drive me crazy although I love them most of the story lines are incredibly impossible or ridiculous! I was thinking about this after I heard my neighbors analyzing the little mermaid one sleepless night... "It's so weird that Ariel just see's this guy and falls in love, and he just falls in love with her back come on!?" And how is it possible that no other girl in the kingdom fit into Cinderellas shoe? There are many more movie quirks that I have! It just makes me laugh how quickly things happen in the movies is love really that ridiculously blind??? And another thing I think it would be cool if some movie actually decided to keep the bloopers and just play off of them... obviously people aren't always going to say things the right way. Messing up the way you phrase your sentences, and when you say the wrong thing it makes things interesting! For example, my mom the other night was talking to me about a blanket and she said one side was longer than the other, what she meant to say was that one direction was longer, if she had said it the right way I would have no reason to laugh and laughing is good for you! :)

Home again, home again jiggity jig!

Goodbyes are always so sad, and saying bye to all the boys for two years is really weird! But at least I can see the girls again in a few months... Packing and finals were, well... Beastly! I finished all of my finals on Saturday the 17th (Don't worry I passed all of them hahaha)and then went to a Volleyball game (With Colleen, Kelly, and of course Brianna) And then on Monday and Tuesday I packed (You have no IDEA how much crap I can accumulate in about 8 months!!!) Wednesday was reserved for cleaning and goodbyes. Erika and Lauren came upstairs after Bri and I finished cleaning and we talked and took pictures. (I really didn't do anything with those two this semester, we should fix that)

Brianna got to the game late so she isn't in this one... Oh and did I mention Cosmo threw a shirt to me but the two crazies surrounding me grabbed the shirt and wouldn't even give it to me!? ;) hahaha

Colleen and I were singing "Nananana nananana hey hey hey goodbye!" The new version of course...

Brianna almost dropped me!!!

I also spent some time with my mom's side of the family before coming home for the Summer. It was so much fun to be around everyone and so crazy that Cam is now married!!

But now I'm back home and loving it... Summer is one of my favorite times of the year (And of course my birthday...) and this year it's even better because I have FOUR months to party, and work, before going back to school!!!!
