He's Hitched!
Saturday my little brother (okay younger brother) beat me to it and got married (Don't worry, we weren't really competing)! I am so excited for him and his bride! It was such a long day, but everything was beautiful and I loved seeing all the family that came together for the wedding. In the sealing the sealer emphasized the importance of temple ordinances and of continuously returning to the temple. I think it is so important to recognize the light the temple brings into our lives. Temple work is for the dead but it is also for us. Without the opportunity to return to the temple often I would struggle. I love that I can go to the temple for myself as well as for the dead. The temple is a blessing because it brings families together. Families are forever and the temple is what creates those favorable circumstances!

2013 in review
With all of the 2013 review posts I have decided I should join in. I haven't updated my blog for a while so here goes (By the way, there is absolutely no order to this madness):
2013
I performed (Well, half performed [I got sick]) in my last BYU Lu'au... unless they decide to change the requirements.
I started teaching and have the most adorable class of 28 third graders!
I finished my last college class. All that's left is the internship.
I faced some major disappointments but they worked themselves out in time.
I turned 22 and had a song that I could sing... ;)
I made some great friends and new traditions.
I lost my grandma but she's in a better place now.
I have gained the respect of parents and had some laughs from their kids (Lots of laughs).
I played a massive game of connect the dots (sidewalk version)
I worked my last football game with BYU catering and had some adventures in the tent...
I had some good friends get married (though I didn't make it to all of the weddings).
I got bangs.
I've taught my class in 4 different classrooms, 2 different schools and I got my carpet redone on a Monday while I temporarily taught in the portable (third graders should not be in a portable!)
I have seen some beautiful sights
And last but not least I grew up and bought a car!

Summer Nights and volleyball
This Summer has been amazing!!! Now that I am out of classes I have been having lots of fun... Here is what I have been up to this Summer:
Picnic/Swing racing at the park
see here
Donuts on National Donut day
BreAnna and I walked around Provo to find Donuts to celebrate.
Cold stone (made possible by the bishop)
Samantha and I were watching a movie one night when Samantha says "there's the bishop" soon enough he was knocking on our door. I answered it and asked him what was up... He replied saying "oh we were in the neighborhood for visits and we found this on your property (Produces a twenty dollar bill). We thought that you and your roommates should take it and go get milkshakes or something of the sort." He gave me the money and left the house. Samantha and I looked at each other for a minute and then went to relay the story for BreAnna before going to get cold stone! *You don't question the bishop ;)
Reading and lots of it
I decided that I would join the Provo Library Summer reading program and have been reading ever since!
Seven Peaks
Having the pass of all passes has been great for me this Summer I have been swimming so many times I love it!!!
Snow Cones
Linnea is back in the States and we met for Shaved Ice and caught up.
Game Nights and Volleyball
I love being able to spend time with people! Especially when I get to spend time doing the things I love!
Lu'au's
Justin got married and Marie graduated I got to dance at both. I can't wait to dance at Robbie's wedding reception in a couple of months!
There have also been receptions (Brianna and Sarah are married Lauren is engaged), lunches (Including a free meal at Tucano's), and time spent with friends that have been quite enjoyable...
Ohhh and I got Honors for my Latin medals exam!!! Woot Woot! (Here's the Samba and the Rumba)
