Happily Ever After?

Movies drive me crazy although I love them most of the story lines are incredibly impossible or ridiculous! I was thinking about this after I heard my neighbors analyzing the little mermaid one sleepless night... "It's so weird that Ariel just see's this guy and falls in love, and he just falls in love with her back come on!?" And how is it possible that no other girl in the kingdom fit into Cinderellas shoe? There are many more movie quirks that I have! It just makes me laugh how quickly things happen in the movies is love really that ridiculously blind??? And another thing I think it would be cool if some movie actually decided to keep the bloopers and just play off of them... obviously people aren't always going to say things the right way. Messing up the way you phrase your sentences, and when you say the wrong thing it makes things interesting! For example, my mom the other night was talking to me about a blanket and she said one side was longer than the other, what she meant to say was that one direction was longer, if she had said it the right way I would have no reason to laugh and laughing is good for you! :)

Home again, home again jiggity jig!

Goodbyes are always so sad, and saying bye to all the boys for two years is really weird! But at least I can see the girls again in a few months... Packing and finals were, well... Beastly! I finished all of my finals on Saturday the 17th (Don't worry I passed all of them hahaha)and then went to a Volleyball game (With Colleen, Kelly, and of course Brianna) And then on Monday and Tuesday I packed (You have no IDEA how much crap I can accumulate in about 8 months!!!) Wednesday was reserved for cleaning and goodbyes. Erika and Lauren came upstairs after Bri and I finished cleaning and we talked and took pictures. (I really didn't do anything with those two this semester, we should fix that)

Brianna got to the game late so she isn't in this one... Oh and did I mention Cosmo threw a shirt to me but the two crazies surrounding me grabbed the shirt and wouldn't even give it to me!? ;) hahaha

I also spent some time with my mom's side of the family before coming home for the Summer. It was so much fun to be around everyone and so crazy that Cam is now married!!

But now I'm back home and loving it... Summer is one of my favorite times of the year (And of course my birthday...) and this year it's even better because I have FOUR months to party, and work, before going back to school!!!!

This year has been great but I'm so done being a freshman! :)

Soooo Close

to the end of the semester I'm just dreaming of Summer. But in the mean time I am having a blast here in Provo. On Friday Kimber and I went to the Volleyball game with one of her friends which was a lot of fun (We won the game) And then on Saturday I had practice for choir early in the morning because of our concert tomorrow. It was fun and we accomplished so much! (You try to cram over 100 people into a choral setup in the Provo tabernacle, it is hard work!) Well after that practice I went to play the piano! It was so much fun to just go play I wish I knew how to play like most of my cousins... They are amazing!!!

Then bri and I went to The Brick Oven before going to the volleyball game. I haven't been there all year so it was a lot of fun. We both got so stuffed before our pizza came, Bri ate all of her salad and I ate all of my bread ;), that we each could only eat one piece of our pizza!!! So during dinner Bri and I were having problems... When the waitress asked me if I wanted soup or salad I thought I had said salad but in reality had said soup (I was really confused when she started listing off soups). Then when I got my salad I said to Bri, "I like these croutons" but she thought I said "I like their coupons" bahahaha

After eating we went to the volleyball game and Kelly met us there. It was a fun game and we had a good view of the players and started to nickname the other team’s players. There was:
Grandpa- forty year old who had problems with his shorts (He tucked them into his underwear... Weird!)
Big Bird- He was really tall and skinny and his face looked like a bird.
Flabs- This was Kelly's and Bri's decision
Little Boy- One of the players had a young face

*Side note*
So when Kelly and I went to get our licenses (we went at the same time) we would watch the people conducting the test and coincidentally give them nicknames. One of the guys was Big bear (looked scary but was harmless) Kelly took the test from him. And the other main nickname was Bumblebee (this lady was wearing yellow, like a jumpsuit not just a shirt, and rushing around everywhere) I took the test from her.
*Okay done*

At one point of the game Cosmo came out dressed in a Spiderman outfit. It was pretty awesome and then he came up to our little group sat on my lap and put his legs on Bri and Kelly (Kinda random huh!?) But the game was awesome and we won! :)



After the game bri and I went to see Colleen and we talked for a very long time. It was so much fun. Isn't it just pathetic that I don't see Kelly and Colleen more often!?

Funny Stories...
First: I went to the bank today and while I was waiting for the bus to school some random, and kinda creepy guy smiled at me. Being the nice person I am I smiled back and then promptly put in my headphones and turned on my IPOD but the guy didn't take the hint. He came up and started talking to me and I couldn't just ignore him so I was talking to him. He asked me what bus I was taking and I said I didn't know and asked what bus he was taking (I was definitely not getting on the same bus as him) he asked my name so out of courtesy I told him and asked his. He answered and then his bus got there. He stood up and asked for my number so he could take me on a date...

Ummm NO! (Well I was nicer then that. But why is it that all the creeps like to be there when I'm getting on the bus or have no one to talk to!?!?!? This is not the first time something like this has happened Grrrr!!!)

Second: I was early for class, sitting in the JSB waiting for American heritage to start and one of the TA's had a microphone and asked if anyone was just dying to pray for the last American Heritage lecture. Surprisingly some kid in the very back raised his hand so of course he got the mic. When Professor Pope walked into the classroom the student with the microphone claimed to be Professor Pope's conscience and told him to give all of the students A's and stuff like that and then stated that Professor Pope should stop eating so many Donuts. Professor Pope just laughed. It was an interesting last day of class...

Life

So life has been happening and I haven't had time for updating this blog but figured I should now... I'm staying up until I register for classes.

So a couple weeks ago the week of the 22 was crazy busy! I had 4 tests, two papers, and practice and performances for Lu'au. Proud to say I passed all of my tests and Lu'au was AMAZING I did it with Stephanie, Karmila, Kimber, and my cousin Vao played the drums!!! I did not realize how much I missed performing but I was so happy to be performing even for a couple of nights. Lu'au was fun but at the same time was so stressful! We never actually got our costumes and we are still waiting for our refunds. We did work out replacement costumes though. We borrowed some from living legends and some from the Polynesian teacher at BYU. I absolutely loved the costume I ended up in. For Lu'au I did the Samoan section and was lucky enough to perform in all of the girl dances for the section! :) I loved doing Lu'au and am so excited for next year, hopefully we will actually get our costumes... In the busyness of that week I became a horrible sister and forgot to call my brother on his birthday!!!! But I apologized and we are good :)

My hair and make-up is done... Just hoping for a costume.

More recently...
I was asked to do an interview about the Lu'au with a reporter from Eagle's Eye magazine, for multicultural services, and felt like such a dork doing it! I'm sure I was just babbling the whole time... I tend to do that a lot. The funny thing is someone recommended the interviewer talk to me and that's why he asked me. I really want to know who went and did that!? ;)

Conference was amazing and I actually got to attend a session with Stephanie, Lisa, and Dan! We went to the Saturday afternoon session and it was so much fun! I don't remember ever going before and just have to say that I thought it was so cute at the end of conference, while the apostles were walking out, each apostles would wait by the stairs for his wife and then they would walk out together... So cute!!!

I think that's all the interesting aspects of my life for now... Oh wait only five more actual days of school left!!!! I have a concert coming up, ask me about it, and I register for Fall tonight... Ok that's really everything!

So ummm...

I think I might explode, or maybe have a nervous breakdown (at least something like that) Why you may ask? Because next week is going to be horrendous!!!! I think that my teachers are conspiring against me! I have 4 tests, 2 papers, Lu'au practices and performances, (You should come!) Meetings, a cousins wedding, and all of my regular activities (i.e. School, food, and sleep!)I think this will be crazier than finals week! hopefully I survive ;)

Today was Cambria's Wedding Shower so I took the bus to Clearfield yesterday and went to stay with Mindy and her family. The shower was so much fun! I just love to see all of my family (or whoever is there at the moment)

I just love this!!!

You know those days that remind you of great times or that just make some of those great times for you to remember!? Well today was totally one of those days... It started out with school. Nothing special really but then I had to leave class and walk to the Marriott Center to get ready to sing at the devotional and once I got there it was a complete mess! No one knew what was going on (I have had these moments before) So we sang for the devotional and then I met with Karmila to do some scheming (Did I mention this was outside!? It is so pretty outside) Well after that I went to class and then home. When I got home I studied for my test and wished for a reason to be outside. After studying for a while I went to take my test and I passed!!!! (A 70, but for American Heritage that is Amazing!!!) After taking that test I got a text from Amy asking if I wanted to go outside and play!? Ummm DUH the answer is YES! So we found other people and ended up playing soccer on the WyView field. Although I love soccer I am such a bad soccer player and I just felt bad for everyone on my team (Yes that bad) While playing I lost track of time and ended up missing the bus back to campus... While walking to campus I decided to stop at dairy queen and get some ice cream. I got a medium twist dipped in cherry and it was so good but way to big for me (I should have gotten the small) When I got to school Bri and I went swing dancing and there were a couple of guys there who were so awkward! (One of them asked Bri "do you want to dance?" she said yes and the next words out of his mouth were "so do you want to go on a date?" Ummm yeah awkward) Then We took the bus home... But today was just so amazing! I love this weather that is sunny and cool at the same time! :)Oh and I also love having stuff to do! While we were playing soccer I was thinking how amazing it was that you can walk around and find enough people to start a game of soccer. I know this never happened when I was in Vegas! Ohhh I just love college!!!!
